Clarity Newhouse Racing added 18 new photos to the album: 09-10-16 Clarity's CRA Race at Owosso Speedway.

It was a wonderful day at Owosso Speedway in my first JEGS / CRA All-Stars Tour Presented By Chevrolet Performance race in my Rainbow Child Care Center #2 Ford. After pouring rain threatened the race, Owosso Speedway and the promoters did a great job sticking it out and drying the track. Due to the rain there was no qualifying session and I started at the back of a 26 car field. There were more wrecks than I've ever seen ahead of me during the 100 laps and yet my car escaped undamaged thanks to great spotting by Tom Cronenwett. Justin Schroeder, Brian Sawle and Gary Cronenwett did a great job helping setup my car and I finished 20th despite a flat tire that they changed with NASCAR-like speed in the pit.

Out of the 26 car field I had the 15th fastest lap time during the race which was pretty encouraging for a first-timer. Plus all the restarts gave me lots of opportunity to practice "going green" so now I have a positive feeling that next season, me and this race car are going to get along well! Our motor ran great with special thanks to Dewaine Mcgunegill for his help in the pit and all our wonderful sponsors, supporters and suppliers this season, including Rainbow Child Care Center, JD Racing Indoor Karting, www.MaxxInk.com, www.ConsultBluewater.com, Summit Academy and Summit Academy North, Paul's Auto Service in Monroe, Varsity Ford- Ann Arbor, Sunny Media Group, Rusty Wallace Racing Experience, Royal Purple, Port City Racecars, and McGunegill Engine Performance.

John JacksonIt was great seeing you and great seeing you avoid all the wrecks. Interesting that Erik Jones, the winner, failed post-race inspection. Does that mean you finished 19th?
